Course Set HLTAID009 & UETDRRF004 (CPR/ LVR)

This course  is suitable for electricians, apprentices, refrigeration mechanics and anyone in an industry where they are working with low voltage switchboards (marine, mining etc) .

This course teaches you the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from a live Low Voltage panel and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Electrical Safety Regulations and Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

 

What will I learn?

 

Course contents include

• WHS Requirements

• LVR kit contents and safety checks

• Procedure to perform a rescue from a live Low Voltage Switchboard

• Basic Life support skills including CPR and defibrillation

• Burns management including fire blankets and first aid procedure

 

Upon successful completion you will receive a statement of attainment with the following nationally recognised units of competency:

• HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

• UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel
