About Category 5 Emergency Care
Category 5 Emergency Care is a Far North Queensland based business. We provide a wide range of high quality courses, Event Healthcare Solutions, Lifeguard services for corporate events, concerts, sporting events and public gatherings . To complement these services we also sell first aid kits and emergency equipment. Our services cater to multiple industries and extend across Australia with clientele spanning as far north as the Torres Strait and south to Victoria.

Our team includes Paramedics, Medics (Paramedic Students), Nurses, Doctors, Lifeguards and Sports Trainers to give you peace of mind at your event. Our course instructors are experts in their field and when they're not teaching courses, they are working as Paramedics, Medics, Lifeguards and Sports Trainers.
Our courses can be tailored to meet the needs of your organisation and we can deliver onsite at your workplace or in one of our training venues.
We were the first private organisation in Queensland to be awarded a Lifeguard contract for a public beach.
We pride ourselves on offering our clients comprehensive healthcare solutions for their event, *Australia wide no matter how large or small. We are fully licensed by Qld Health to provide emergency drugs.

Many of our courses are scenario based so participants get actively involved. They are fun, practical, very comprehensive and taught from years of experience. It is a refreshing modern approach to training. Training can be delivered onsite at your workplace, or in our training room, at times that suits your schedule and can be tailored to meet your organisational needs.
